Daly River Mango Farm

BUSH WALKING:

The Daly River Region is an untouched area of the Northern Territory and the Daly River Mango Farm an excellent base from which you can undertake many bush walks, viewing bird life and native animals in their natural habitat. mfb.jpg (20152 bytes) A 3km walk around the Daly River Mango Farm takes in the picturesque billabongs as well as the historical site of the Jesuit Mission from the 1880's. This walk is a pleasant start or finish to any day and undertaken by most visitors.

For the fitter of guests a walk to the top of Porcupine Hill results in a spectacular view of the whole Daly Region. The hill is the location of a helicopter crash from late last century. The wreckage still remains.
