4WD day Trips

The southern half of Litchfield National Park can be accessed from the Daly River Mango Farm via the 4wd track from the Daly River Road. Many guests take a picnic lunch and make a days outing visiting Surprise Creek (photographs below left). For the real adventurous the trip all the way to Wangi Falls and the Lost City is their thing.

Remember if you go on a 4wd trip it is advisable to get back in time to see the sunsets made spectacular by the dry season smoke. Always let someone know where you are going and when you expect to return.
