Conditions are now close to typical dry season with fish being caught trolling close in to snags and on live bait. On bigger tides fish up river , neaps go futher down or fish the tidal influences and on snags.
All indications so far are that this year will be another top year of fishing on the Daly. Recent cold weather has done little to slow the catch of barra on live bait however lures are a bit harder work with the water temperature in the low 20's.
