RIVER UPDATE: February 2010  Crossing Closed
Cyclone Olga gave us a bit more water and has maintained a river height above 7m.  Currently the river is 9m with a bit more water to come down from Katherine. This river level is good for fish breeding and a good start to the season for 2010.
Current  fishing conditions are poor and will remain so unless we get a significant drop in river level back to about the 8m mark before the next monsoon burst is upon us, probably late February.
Access has been a problem for everyone since Xmas however the roads are currently open and passable from Darwin and not expected to be cut in the short term.
